Paramount Academy, a pioneer educational institution Pa of the region, was established on the 17th January 2002 at Tarapur (A sub-divisional headquarter under Munger district of Bihar) by a group of intellectuals of this locality. It is located at Tarapur at a short distance from Ultasthan Mahadeo Mandir. It is located in scenic surroundings and away from hustle and bustle of the town having clam and peaceful atmosphere. It is spread over more than two acres of land.

Curriculum
This school follows CBSE curriculum. The medium of instruction is generally English. However, emphasis is equally given for teaching Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu. Special attention is regularly given to character formation and development of all-round personality through series of school based various activities i.e., science lab activities, educational projects, musical activities, inter house debates and speeches; yoga, physical and health education, computer course, moral science teaching, cultural programmes, games and sports etc.
Modern use of technology (through smart classes) and other updated teching aids have been arranged to reinforce the teching learning methodology. The academic session starts from the month of March-April of every year and closed in the month of March of the next year.
